A rice purity score of 100 means you didn't tick a single one of the 100 statements on the test. On our test that puts you in the Pure Soul group (95–100). It simply means none of the listed experiences have happened to you yet. It is not a grade, and there is nothing wrong with it.
- Statements ticked: 0 of 100
- Our label: Pure Soul
- What it measures: how many of the listed experiences apply to you, nothing more
How do you get exactly 100?
Every statement you tick takes one point off your score, so 100 means a completely blank sheet: no romantic kisses, no dates, no alcohol, no trouble at school, and none of the everyday “experiences” such as skipping class to do something fun or staying up all night to watch the sunrise.
Because the test includes very mild items alongside the explicit ones, a perfect 100 is less common than people expect. Most people tick at least a few of the gentler questions in the Romance and Experiences sections.
Who usually scores 100?
A perfect score most often comes from people who are very young, who have grown up in a protective or religious environment, or who simply haven't prioritised dating, parties or risk-taking. Some people also score 100 because they skimmed the test or answered as a joke, which is why it helps to read the questions carefully.
What a 100 looks like in everyday life
Someone who scores 100 might be focused on school, sport, faith, family or a hobby, and simply hasn't been in situations where the listed experiences come up. Many people who score 100 have still travelled, worked, made close friends and taken on responsibility; those things just aren't on this particular list. If friends react to your score, remember that the test was designed as a light-hearted icebreaker, not a ranking.
If you took the test quickly, it can be worth going through it again slowly. Mild items like “gone out on a proper date” or “watched the sun rise without sleeping” are easy to skip past.
Is a score of 100 good or bad?
Neither. The Rice Purity Test counts experiences; it does not measure character, maturity or worth. A 100 can reflect deliberate choices, circumstances or just timing. If you are comfortable with your life as it is, your score is a good one for you.
Will it change?
Almost certainly, and usually gradually. Scores tend to drop most in the late teens and early twenties as people start dating, leave home and try new things. There is no right pace. See average rice purity scores by age for context.
Frequently asked questions
Is 100 the highest rice purity score?
Yes. The test starts at 100 and every statement you tick lowers it by one, so 100 is the maximum.
Is a rice purity score of 100 rare?
It's less common than people expect, because the test includes mild items such as holding hands or skipping class that many people tick.
Should I worry about a score of 100?
No. The score only counts listed experiences. It says nothing about your value as a person.
