What usually leads to a score in the 60s?
By this point most of the Romance section is usually ticked, along with a fair number of Intimacy items, several Substances questions (drinking, being drunk, perhaps cannabis) and a good share of the everyday Experiences. A couple of Legal items, usually minor ones, may also be included.
Is a score in the 60s normal?
Yes. Scores in the 60s are commonly associated with university students and people in their early twenties. The site's informal global average sits in the high 60s, so this range is about as “middle” as it gets.
Why the 60s are the “middle”
The test is weighted towards the Intimacy section, which makes up 43 of the 100 statements. That means the middle of the scale is usually reached once someone has had a fair number of romantic and intimate experiences alongside common social ones. A score in the 60s reflects that balance rather than anything extreme.
Because each item counts the same, two people with a 65 can have very different stories. One may have ticked many social items, another many romantic ones.
Does a lower score mean anything bad?
No. The test counts experiences; it doesn't judge them. Many items on the list, such as travelling alone or performing in front of a crowd, are positive milestones. Your score reflects your path, not your character.
