Which questions do people in this range usually tick?
Scores in the 90s typically come from the gentlest items: holding hands romantically, going on a date, a first kiss, attending a party where alcohol was present, or the everyday “Experiences” questions such as staying up all night, skipping class to do something fun, or travelling alone. Very few people in this range tick items from the explicit Intimacy section.
What's the difference between 99 and 90?
Nine statements. A 99 usually means a single experience, often a first kiss or a date. A 90 often reflects a little more: perhaps a relationship, a first drink, and a couple of rule-breaking moments. Both are firmly on the “pure” side of the scale.
Why so many people land in the 90s first
The first items people tick are usually the most common milestones: a first date, a first kiss, a sleepover with someone they like, or a night out. Because each item is worth exactly one point, those early milestones only move the score a little, which is why first-time test-takers so often land in the 90s.
If you retake the test after a year or two, a drop of a few points is completely normal. It usually reflects new friendships, relationships and freedoms rather than anything dramatic.
Is a score in the 90s good?
